How Decals & More Inc. got started.
In the early 90's I was selling Sports cards, Plaques & Collectibles. We would setup at trade shows, malls etc. We then started selling decals (cartoon, sport etc). The guy that we were buying them from one day said he was moving to Florida & that he was selling his machine that he used to produce the decals, So I bought it. This machine had only 5 font styles & about 30 Cartoon, Sport logo's that it could produce. So for about 2 years my wife & I made stickers in our living room. In '98 we upgraded to a 20" machine that hooked up to a computer & we purchased a software program that had 100's of font's & the logo's were unlimited. We started making other decals & signs. At that time we lived in East Berlin, PA. In the year 2000 the Lord opened up several doors for us to move to Greencastle, PA. When we moved to Greencastle one of the doors that opened was Shanks COB house. We started taking care of the church property for our house rent. Which allowed me to purchase more equipment. At this time I still worked full time. In 2001 we landed a large job with Bri-Mar Trailers in Chambersburg, PA Which Brian Wise gave me an opportunity ( I have allways remembered this & Thank Brian for the opportunity) of working for a large company. About this time I needed to make another decision whether to go full time or not. This was a big decision leaving a full time job with benefits. With a lot of prayer we decided to go for it. We worked out of a small 10' by 16' shed then a year later we built a 14' by 32' shed which both were at the location where we lived. In 2004 we were busting at the seams & found a warehouse in town Greencastle that we rented. It had a about 600 sq. ft. of space & a little more exposure. We then hired our first employee, Another big decision. In 2006 I found a building(Formerly Foremost Industries) but it was to big to for what I needed, But had great exposure. So I went to some friends of mine Kevin Swope & Brian Hoffman of Dice Imaging Inc. & told them about it. They were in need of more space also. So Dice Imaging rented the building & I sub rent from them. We share the showroom, Restrooms Etc. In Jan. 2009 we became Incorporated. As of Sept. 2009 we have 2 Fulltime Employee's & 3 Partime employee's.
We now have an additional 24" Vinyl Cutter, 54" Wide Format Mimaki Printer, 54" Mimaki Vinyl Cutter & 2 54" Laminator's.
I would like to thank the Lord for all the blessings that he has brought to us.

My hope & prayer is that I can serve the Lord somehow though the business. The flexability of schedule has allowed me to do some things for the Lord that I probably wouldn't have been able to do if I worked for someone. Like distrubuting Bible at Schools, Colleges, Hotels Etc throught the Gideons International & helping others in our church.
